The Swedish National Association for Social and Mental Health (RSMH) is a membership organization for people with lived experience of mental health issues. RSMH strives to protect our members’ social and civil rights and provide an accepting social context free from stigma and discrimination.
RSMH was formed in 1967 and is religiously and politically independent and has approximately 4,000 individual members organized in 75 local associations throughout Sweden.
Life with mental health issues should not be harder than it already is. That’s why RSMH works for a society where everyone with mental health issues can have a simpler everyday life, a predictable income, access to the support one needs and access to a future without debilitating mental health issues.
